You may want to download and run a live CD like Knoppix to check to see
if you have any hardware issues. If you can get Knoppix to run and
recognize your hardware, you probably don't have a compatibility
problem. Generally speaking, when a company says they don't "support"
Linux it just means that they won't answer any of your questions through
tech support.
