Hey. I've no idea where to start here.
I'm running slackware with a 2.6 kernel, I have a bluetooth dongle,
which when I connect the kernel seems to recognise but then I have no
idea what to do.

im running fluxbox which I would really like to continue doing :p but if
I _do_ swap to kde in order to use its more helpful features, everytime
I get try to get it to look at the bluetooth device, it locks up until i
disconnect it physically.

dmesg recognised the device as bluetooth core 2.11 and three lines of
hci saying 'yes, its a blutooth dongle, well done.'

any ideas? Ive looked around online but they all seem to point in
opposite directions..

thanks people!!!!!

Shad.
