Personally I think Ubuntu 7.1 a good choice, but you might also take a
look at Mint. It depends on the level of your expertise, or comfort
level in dealing with 'what's underneath the hood'.
Before deciding on your distro you should check the distro's hardware
compatibility list to make sure your printer will function with your
selection.
