Ok, linux gurus. I decided after hearing all the positive stuff about
Mepis 7.0 that I would install it on my Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop.
Well things got to the live cd part that said
pccard: pcmcia card inserted into slot 0
pcmcia: registering new device pcmcia0.0
Then everything stops. The device in slot 0 is a Linksys wireless
card. I never had this happen with any distro excpet suse 10.3. If I
take the wireless card out the live boot proceeds to completion.
Anybody got any great ideas on how to work around this?
