Perhaps someone more familiar with the program in question might have a
better idea than I (for I'm stuck, to be honest.)
The only thing I can do is commiserate. :)
Do you have a different Linux installation that you can try, to try to
determine if it's Ubuntu, VirtualBox or something else?
