I did. (By the way, it's much easier for other people to follow if you

It's one of the Dell Broadcom cards, which are troublesome ones. Your best
bet, as you're using Ubuntu, is to go their forums and put the card
number in the search box. It will take a bit of digging, but I believe
that many people have gotten the card working.
You can also ask for help there--as a rule, most people are very
helpful, though they will expect you to have done some searching on the
forum first.
