Hey folks, It's been a while, as I stopped using Linux for some time due to computer compatibility issues.
I just installed the latest version of Ubuntu on my new laptop but it doesn't let me connect to the internet. This is odd because when I installed an older version of Ubuntu on an older laptop I had no problems connecting. I installed, clicked on Firefox, and there the world wide web was, ready to enjoy. Now, I have a new laptop (same make) and a new version of Linux (same distro), yet it apparently doesn't recognize my cable modem or something. Any ideas on how to get this working? ~Kaz ------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from this list, please email [email protected] & you will be removed.Yahoo!
