Problem 1:Update Pangolin to Quantal and Update/Upgrade

Mo Jan 07 15:33:48 2013
Good afternoon
Thank You for help.

 > because Linux is case sensitive, isnt it?

People tend to say that because the shells (bash, csh, zsh, etc.) are
case sensitive, where as MS-DOS wasn't. Other places in GNU/Linux case
sensitivity can be toggled, or ignored entirely. So the correct answer
unfortunately is, it depends.

Thank You.
Next question is nearly the same
maybe the answer is "it depends" also.

How long are file names in Linux?
I tried
thisisthenameofthefileandIcanreadit.txt

But then I tried to burn DVD and always there is an error.
Then I packed all files to t123.zip
and the burning is going well.
Is the best way to name t1234567.txt or t1234567.jpg
and
to avoid to name files like thisisthenameofthefileandIcanreadit.txt

Regards
Sophie
