I have a 320 gig external hard drive that isn't doing anything better,
so I am thinking of installing several flavors of Linux onto it;
hopefully, making them portable, so that I can take the disk from one
computer to another.
The problem is not finding instructions; the problem is that there are
lots of instructions, some of which seem contradictory. Can someone who
has done this before successfully point me to the instructions you used?
