It looks to me as though the 630's "LPC Bridge" device can do what I'm
talking about.  If you look at register 46, "INIT Enable Register", it
looks as though you'll get a system reset if you set bits 6,7 to 1.

You can probably test this from userspace using setpci...

Hmmm. Interesting.  In the same register there is also an "Enable Keyboard
Hardware Reset" bit.  Perhaps you could check using lspci -xxx to see if
that's turned on.  Maybe then the stock linux reboot would work.
