I would hope linuxbios won't delete any code needed to boot 2.2, just
because 2.4 becomes the new stable kernel.  I'm sure I'll be stuck with
2.2 for a while yet, because honestly I don't have a compelling reason to
switch to 2.4, and it'll be a lot of work and testing.  Instead of taking
things out, it'd be nice if they became off-by-default config options.
