I'll try to get better numbers. one problem is that the poll-driven client
can't always keep up, so it gets corrupted packets, and then waits a bit.
Sorry I was not more specific.

But even without the errors I watched packet traces with tcpdump. It
seemed to be moving about 512 bytes per packet, and the packets looked
like coming in once a millisecond. So that's 512KB/sec. Not bad, not
exciting. I can see how a single server can serve several clients, as they
are not putting much load on it.

Sorry, Eric, I realize these numbers are very imprecise. I will try to get
solid ones this week.

I actually think TFTP is not terrible, not great. It's fine if it is all
we've got. I just like TCP-based transfers better, that's all.
