Guess I better get these questions in now..
I have been expoloring the various Linux boot Linux methods and I am a little
befuddled on
which one I should try to use..
Both LOBOS and bootimg appear to have user mode programs that will boot the kernel.
LOBOS talks about boot totally withour leaving kernel mode but it's not yet obvious to
me
how to realize this..
LOBOS dosen't appear to support a initrd... Correct?
The LOBOS doc makes a claim of a tiny linux kernel available that does a tftp boot...
How
tiny is tiny and is the procedure available?
I found patches and references in the to kexec but no documentation... Any comments on
kexec?
Sorry for all the questions..Out before I jump in and get started I want to have a
good
handle on whats out there already
Note:
I will brew up all answers and procedures sent to me in a mini-howto. Hopefully this
will
keep these questions from cluttering up the list in the future.
