the VIA VT8601 mainboard is kind of up. SPD works, which does sort of
confirm that Eric Beiderman did a good job on that code structure. There
are some dram parameters still wrong, so we can't plug in 3, and
(weird!) a fsck will make DRAM fail if we have two plugged in. Wow, DRAM
is hard.

But for those of you in the know, if you know of a mainboard that has:
8601 north
686 south
512KB flash support

Then we might have something for you.
