tell me what's going wrong. You need it because linuxbios boots linux too
quickly, and the hard drive is not up. Is the linux boot failing or is it
something else?
I noticed that if you specify the geometry then the ide code will wait for
the drive. So I'm wondering:
if you specify hda=0:0:0, this is a standard linux boot command option,
but the values are 0, which should force the ide driver to wait for
spinup.
If we did this, it would remove a kernel patch. Anybody want to try it?
