try cat /proc/cpuinfo wiht LinuxBIOS you will find that it only reports
cache size equal to L1 cache but not L2 cache. And compare this with
booting by Award BIOS, it will report a different value (at least on
my Duron). Trust me, you have to do something that AMD did not tell you.
