O.k. I network booted it from etherboot. And redboot comes up
and runs fine. I have issues with their serial driver as it breaks
if you enable hardware flow control, but that should be simple to fix.
And redboot looks remarkably primitive. However it is much better
than nothing. It correctly detected my memory size, without being
passed it which is nice.
So at first glance it doesn't look too bad. Now I just have to play
with enough to see if it a complete solution or just another bootloader
that works with linuxBIOS.
O.k. redboot is now on the top of my list of bootloaders to play with.
With a little luck this looks like a general solution 256K ROMs.
