This either means it is misprogrammed or you did not set the bits in the
bridge to allow 256KB addressing. However, I know linuxbios sets those
bits. I think it is misprogrammed.

you can try this: boot normal bios, put your flash in, dump it and see if
it looks right.

Sorry I haven't tried this as it has been a VERY long time since we used
FLASH on any MS7308E boards.
