if I understood well, he is firewalled and only has web & ftp access. Cvs
uses ports 2401 for tcp & udp so he couldn't use cvs at all. When he says he
can download files, I believe he speaks about sourceforge's web interface to
the CVS .....
Ruslan , get a real connection to the internet... if you don't, you can try
"wget" utility and get cvs tree through the web.
