Hello from Gregg C Levine normally with Jedi Knight Computers
Not that it matters, or should, but: The video card worn by this machine, an
ATI Rage 128, is a VGA card to this OS, (W98), and to Linux, it is a
framebuffer. I found that out earlier. Version 2.2.18 contains simple
support for it. But the 2.4.x versions fail on my system, a kernel panic.
I'll spare you guys the content of that error message. But it is a root
mounting issue, and I am exploring it, with my distribution's owner.
