I reseated the DIMMs with no diff ...

Can't see that happening (more likely that I bled into something that
didn't like it - shorting it out) .. hmm 

Someone else pointed out (someone who had burnt up AMD processors)
that it should smell ... and having blown up my fair share of resistors, 
capacitors and LEDs in my time, I know what that electrochemical smell 
is like, and I'm not getting that from the machine either. 

Its ok ... let this thread die ... thanks all for the help (and condolences) ...
I think its the lamest way to lose the most expensive single piece of 
technology I've bought (in the shortest period of time) ...  I look after my
stuff ... I still have two boxes of He-man toys ... You guys doan wanna buy
some He-man toys do you? ;-)
