I actually got LinuxBIOS working now, the problem was that "flash_and_burn" completely fills my MX29F002 flash part with junk (0x33) and not the content of romimage, after fixing this everything works fine.
Also the actual flash part shipped with the board was not supported, but I found a data sheet for it so I can now flash that part too. I can make a patch if someone is interested. -mikael
