First, why is the listserver NOT accepting messages from non-list members when the infopage says it is: >Because Lyris could not confirm that you are a member of linuxconf, >your message was not accepted. Here we go again: I have the same problem with RH51, linuxconf 1.13r1. Firewalling worked okay before, but now linuxconf wont update it on some servers. On other (almost the same setup) servers it is working. The problem also affects other services like filesystem and named, when fstab and named.boot is updated linuxconf just ignore it and I must activate by hand, even if the changes are done in linuxconf. BTW Is it possible to force linuxconf to activate a service (like the firewall, which is not so easy to do by hand)? DS wrote: > > check /sbin/ipfwadm -F -l and see if the rules are set.
