the HTML pages are generated by a toolkit. So the layout produced is fixed
by an algorythm. So you can't modify a single page. But you can certainly
modify the general layout.
One idea I have is to use some tree menu widget combined with some
notebook layout (like the GUI version). I think the later can be done
without fancy html/scripting solution at all.
Note that the html layout is not a big part of linuxconf. We can very well
have something fancier than we have and potentially have several "taste",
potentially having variation to support multiple browser. For example, we
can have
-the current layout, which is usable even on Lynx.
-something combining java/javascript/html and whatever
to produce the nicest possible things.
I hope to release the GUI front-end written in java soon, so this will
become yet another option.
