Everytime I 'activate configuration' linuxcof insist on checking my CD-ROM drive, and if so, displays that 'hdc / or tray empty' errors. While not a functional impairment, it's mostly irksome, and I was wondering if there is some way to kill this setting. Seems to me that it's executing lilo everytime this happens, but my lilo.conf file has no reference to hdc (which is the CD-ROM). Any ideas?
