Do you think it is a bug of a mis-configuration?

I seem to have similar problems with my RedHat 5.2 install running bind. I
receive the error that domain not bound!. Nslookup come back ok, except
that it returns an error that it can't find server name for it's own ip
address, it seems to run slow but otherwise will lookup other servers in my
tree as wel as resolve those outside.
