Just curiosity... Well, it's a long story... In a nutshell, I have two accounts, both are free, one ISP offers PPP and the other offers me CSLIP and won't change to PPP as they are having some trouble. I need to use both because the CSLIP conection is better as it is faster: it lets me access a shell on the internet with less hops. The PPP connection is slow as it uses IP masquerade with novell. I use the PPP connection more often though because it offers me unlimited access. With CSLIP I only get a couple of hours a day. So, there are some people still offering SLIP/CSLIP and not PPP out there. You would never have imagined some people were still using SLIP eh? ;-) Neil Zanella [EMAIL PROTECTED] --- You are currently subscribed to linuxconf as: [[email protected]] To unsubscribe, forward this message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
