PTR records are added automatically. You must define a pseudo domain for
that in the "IP reverse mapping" menu entry. For example, for the network
192.168.1.0, you define the pseudo zone 192.168.1 (which is translated to
1.168.192.in-addr.arpa). Once you have done this, reverse mapping is taken
care automatically.
Now, if you have already define this zone and this is not happening, then
something is odd. Send me a copy of your named.boot or named.conf file and
the content of the /var/named directory (where you store the other zone
files).
