I have noticed some things that all could be happening around the same
time as LDD.
Corel - If I remember correctly Corel's distribution is supposed to
debut sometime around then. If not maybe there will be betas.
Red Hat - Generally there is a couple of months time lapse between the
announcement of an IPO and the actual IPO.
MS - The initial ruling could occur in the MS-DOJ trial.
This is off topic but all of these could lead to a hugely successful LDD
99. But we are on our way to making this successful event regardless of
the events that are happening.
1999 may be the year of the penguin and our project may have serious
impact on that as it seems.
Everyone is doing a great job at making this a spectacular event.
