Upgrade update:
We updated 3 of our desktop machines from RH 5.2 to RH 6.0 and things are just
great. One is Linux only and the other 2 are dual boot, win32 / Linux. We
had
a few strange problems with KDE and Enlightenment wanting to borrow settings
from one another. We don't like the implementation of PAM since we don't log
into our machines as root.
Installations of Star Office are running well and we will be purchasing the
corp licenses soon. Our Linksys print server wouldnt work under linux but
then
we didn't expect it to since it's junk. We got rid of it and everything is
fine.
Summary: Gnome gets rave reviews, PAM gets curses, overall we're really happy
and will be a linux only shop by the end of the year.
