We're having the same kind of problem. We were going do to our
demo (in Sao Paulo, Brazil) on the 18th, but the places we've contacted
haven't returned yet (actually, those that returned said they couldn't
help us) and it took us too long to actually start doing something about
the Demo Day.
As close as it may be to the day, we'll keep on trying. If nothing
works, we'll try to follow the same path: organize a good demo some time
from now ("a mother of a blowout" ;) .
        Wish us luck!
