I am Ivan Baldo, new coordinator for the UYLUG's Linux Demo Day
project.
First of all: thanks to Rodolfo Pilas, previous coordinator for its
work, too bad that some thinks changed so drastically for him and
practically loosed his free time to dedicate for the Linux Demo Day and
other projects.
We know: is very late... but we are planning already to do our Linux
Demo Day!
We are thinking to do it in November 13 though the date could change...
Anyway, we want to know if we have your support.
Also, I know some packages had been sent to other Linux Demo Day
projects organizations with some material (CD's and maybe other
things...), I would like to know if that could be sent to us or if it is
too late for that.
We are currently seeking for a good place to do our demo (we have
various alternatives) and starting to get people to colaborate in the
effort.
We know there is a lot of interest in GNU/Linux in this country
(Uruguay) and we want to make a good Linux Demo Day here. We also want
to do an installation fest after some days of the Linux Demo Day.
We are looking forward to any suggestions, questions, support, etc.
that you guys could bring and also to any help or whatever we could do
for you!
