I beta-tested win 2K for my company.  Both Beta 2 and Beta 3 were horrible.
The event viewer after one week would stretch to my car in the parking lot,
if I had printed it.  It will not work on the next rev of hardware coming
out.  No way will it work with Itanium.  They would have to write 64.dlls
for every 32.dll.  With 40 million lines of code, that ain't happening.
