The best "distro" is the one that you have on your system. Anyways, not
intending to start a distro war, here're my opinions :
RH: extremely easy to install. Nifty GUI. Great for beginners. more support
in India, thanks to PCQ & CHIP.
Slack: painful installation (donno about the latest). good for people with
the curiosity bone.
Debian: my choice. lengthy installation, but most stuff is handled during
installation. excellent file handling. super many packages. love it.
Cal, suse etc: no idea. never used them.
