All standard monitors can bear an acceptable vert frequency of 50-70 and
select the Extended vga wherein the 1024*768 mode takes an interlaced
setting..
Most monitors should be able to handle it .. However as I mentioned in a
previous mail ..monitors (at least the latest ones ) wherein if the monitor
is overclocked it shuts off for 5-10 mins (trust me , i've experienced this
.. with a samtron 428 ptl )

Hmmm.. Sis cards .. Ok .. I guess the Suse site has some new drivers for the
newer SIS cards ..
U could check that out .. Isn't the card present in the selection menu ..
If not then the latest drivers should be on suse's site
