Rashmi what is the swap space of your linux machine?Check out the
Swap space on your linux system

Morever check if there are some process set in your crontab,which
are running in background when your system starts up,that maybe a problem

Although Linux performs fast as a server ,why not install Linux(higher 
versions 5.6 or 6.1 ) on a faster(pentium machine).
