First of all please tell me on what distibution you are using, also what
enviroment u r using such as Gnome,Kde,console etc.
I'll give you all the settings you need to connect to the net.
Any one from Mumbai wants the solution for the cable modem please feel free
to mail me cause I'm the first person to configure my modem
under linux.
I'm also a newbie and I have gone thru all these problems which all u are
facing.
