Hi Mayuresh. I guess u wanted to know more about the steps. If yes, here it is : - Get the tar balls. - Installing PHP3 : You need to configure and recompile Apache Web server with PHP3 module. - Installing MySQL is peaceful. - Change apache .conf files to add .phtml/.php3 extension handlers. - Sometime it happens that .php3 scripts are passed to the browser without any processing n the browser prompts the user to save them. In such a case you may need to Stop and Restart apache 2 times. - True. serv them hot. PHP3 is the fastest scripting lang as far as the execution is considered and its pretty easy too. - Try to use "include" for including files. Its truly elegant way of programming. - MySQL is fast but then doesn't offer lots of functionalities. If your site involves plain inserts or deletes minus lots of updates as well as less amount of FK constraints, go ahead its cool. In case u need more help.. send me a line. have fun. manu.
