Well, I didn't really mean to imply that. But c'mon! After sooo many
instances of viruses (virii?) bugging the world, why is the world still
there? I mean, how can people stay with M$ products even after knowing
about the existence of so many bugs? How can they take it??

Agreed. But I have nothing to say about that. As long as they don't crib.
If you are fine with windows, why should I worry?
But if people whine about windows and still keep using it .... I find that
funny if they don't try and find alternatives!

Congratulations on your first (right) step! Welcome to Linux.

I can only sympathise. I don't use windows so I really don't know what
help I can be.

And amazingly, they have similar brains too!
The problem is putting what you have to proper use. Why do I keep hearing
that "ease of use ... ease of use" slogan again and again from them? For
me ... I get lost when I am forced to sit on a windows pc. You see, it's
just a matter of perspective. What you start with is easier for you. I
started with UN*X.

Ok. You could say "Well, SO did THEY start with windows!". Granted. But
now they have problems like viruses and "hang"s and reboots and ... well,
most of them are absent here. (here as in ... Linux et al).

We don't find any reason to switch to Windows. They do have.

What does windows have that Linuxers don't? The list would definitely be
small, if not zero-size (if you leave aside the games! But that's not for
too long I guess. Check out the various projects going on! ;-)

And what do we have that they don't have? A long list I guess.
Topmost would be peace of mind! ;-)
