Yeah, I have used Linux and continue to do so happily :P Thats why I am 
on this mailing list :). I know the procedure. But actually doing it is 
very different than reading about it ;). BTW I heard these modems had a 
lot of heat problems and would stop working (or reboot) after a 
while... is that true??
