Hallo Christoph,
das war meine log-Datei nach einem erfolglosen Boot-Versuch von zwei Clients mit den vom
Server zugewiesenen provisorischen IPs 10.16.1.166 und 10.16.1.170 :-).
Die u.g. Einträge wiederholen sich ständig.
Es gibt leider keinen Hinweis auf einen Fehler...

Außerdem ist mir aufgefallen, dass ein anderer Client, den ich aus der
workstations
auskommentiert habe, bei LOKALEM Boot ordnungsgemäß als pxeclient bootet.
Wenn er übers Netzwerk bootet, kommt genau die gleiche Fehlermeldung.
Vermutlich liegt es daran, dass er Linbo lokal gespeichert hat, aber beim
Netzwerk-Boot Linbo nicht findet...

so, ich hab mal mit meiner Konfiguration etwas herumgespielt.
Zunächst mal habe ich das logging aktiviert.
Dazu muss man die Anweisungen in /etc/default/atftpd etwas erweitern:
USE_INETD=false
OPTIONS="--daemon --bind-address 10.16.1.1 --tftpd-timeout 400
--retry-timeout 5
--maxthread 100 --verbose=5 --logfile /var/log/atftpd.log /var/linbo"
- also um die Angabe des logfile-Ortes unter /var/log/
Dieses muss man dann aber händisch erst anlegen und mit Schreibrechten
für den user
nobody.nougroup ausstatten:
# touch /var/log/atftpd.log
# chown nobody:nogroup /var/log/atftpd.log
# chmod ug+rw /var/log/atftpd.log
Dann mit einem
# service atftpd restart
die Maschine neu starten.
Jetzt wird in diese atftpf-log-Datei auch reingeschrieben.
Da ich leider alles von zuhause mache, habe ich keinen Aufnahmeclient
zur Hand.
Aber bei bekannten clients steht bei mir im logfile (hab zwei davon per
linbo-remote
aufgeweckt):
