Hi All

As mentioned, I have published the 2nd part of the timekeeping article on
medium, named "Nanosecond precise timing system for TMT
<https://medium.com/@patwaripuneet15/nanosecond-precise-timing-system-for-tmt-b787fffb1ba9>".
This
article talks about using PTP for achieving nanosecond accuracy and
precision for the world's largest optical telescope to be built, called
Thirty Meter Telescope.

If you like the blog article, please circulate it within your group. Also,
I am open to any feedback on the article.

Hi All

I have been using the "linuxptp" project for the work that I had been doing
in the past. I have benefitted greatly from the library and various threads
posted on "linuxptp-users" group.

While I had been reading about the domain of time keeping for the past few
months, I just published an article named "Introduction to the Science of
Timekeeping
<https://medium.com/@patwaripuneet15/introduction-to-the-science-of-timekeeping-937ad838a07e?sk=8180a3cb9cb94ccf3df02b978b86ed5a>".
The article gives a brief history, evolution and standard definitions in
the domain of timekeeping. This is the first article in a 2-story series.
The next article will talk about using PTP for achieving nanosecond
accuracy and precision for the world's largest optical telescope to be
built, called Thirty Meter Telescope.

If you like the blog article, please circulate it within your group. Also,
I am open to any feedback on the article.
