Hi Team, We are currently using BMCA where we have one Primary ECU(GM), An Alternate ECU(Passive state when Primary is in operation) and one Slave ECU. When Primary ECU is down , Alternate ECU will became active and will be grand master for the Slave ECU.
Primary ECU configured as master(GM) with below parameter: priority1 240 BMCA ptp masteronly 1 ... etc Alternate ECU (Passive when primary ECU is active) configured with below parameter : priority1 248 BMCA ptp clockclass 120 ... etc Question is when Primary ECU is active and in GM role , Can we configured Alternate ECU as slave. And When Primary goes down Alternate will be active(GM) ? If it is possible to configure Alterante ECU as Slave instead of PASSIVE state when Primary ECU is Grand Master, Could you please let us know which ptp configuration parameter can be used to make Alternate as Slave ?
