so i have a few questions first and for most i need to clean this machine (ie wipe the drive) i currently have both windows and gentoo 2005.1 on it, altho gentoo got sick after its last update and kernel panics during boot I would like to know what you all would recommend to do this. ( i do have knopix std if needed) and then i need help setting this new one up being it is totally different beast my configs from this one mean nothing. the new machine should be here sometime today and hp wants me to ship this one back within three days of getting the replacement.
