My r3000 went back because of a mother board issue (that could not be
fixed) so HP replaced it with a ZV6000 it has the gc string on it's
battery also on my spares. but because it is a zv6000 it is not covered.

I know my power supply get damn hot (to the point that the ink for the
serial number and bar code melted/burned off). it is uncomfortable to
touch after using the machine for awhile.
