According to the press release, or at least the swedish
translation, batteries should be replaced whether they are under
warranty or not. I too have the feeling the HP web page has problems,
and the HP tech support guy that I talked to said he was aware of the
page behaving weirdly and that I should be entitled to a replacement
battery. However, these things aren't handled by the local support so
he couldn't do much more than I (pfftth!).

What do you guys think, could the reason for our lack of qualification be that I'm out of warranty, and a lot of us are? My opinion of a recall would be that warranties would not apply, and it seems _no one_ is able to get a new battery via that online form.
