Yes Im using 32bit kernel 2.6.14 kernel and suspend2.
If I dont use the external monitor the suspend works, but the function
key and the mouse wheel simulation (ALPS touchpad) goes away.
So I dont have anymore the scrolling functionality and the sensitivy of
touchpad changes too (I assume because the X fallback from synaptic
driver to the traditional mouse driver).

So I dont use suspend anymore. I try simply minimalizing the reboots. So
the laptop running almost 24/7. If I must shut off my laptop I prefer
shutdown over suspend because the above problems.

I will try the 2.6.15.1 kernel (or maybe Im waiting for 2.6.16), and try
the new bcm43xx driver.

The nvidia driver has bugs with the 2.6.8 gtk library too.
