I buy everything I can on eBay. You just have to watch who you're 
buying from (feedback), make sure they take PayPal, and if they 
don't know how to write an accurate description, either e-mail them 
or give the item a pass. On eBay communication is everything.

I even bought my R3240 on eBay. Got it for $800 brand new, 
except the jerk of a seller had opened the box. Everything was in 
the original wrapping except that the Windows XP CD had been 
opened. I know he made a copy of it, because why else would he 
have opened just that item? It doesn't matter, though. I have the 
original CD in my possession and the first thing I did was to 
reformat the hard disk with EXT3 and put Linux on it. I am legally 
entitled to the license but I'll never use it.
