My previous phone was winmo based, and yes, winmo sucks and it was really unreliable. Now I have a blackberry, and so far it has been awesome. Sure Verizon does cripple a few things, but so far nothing that has impaired my abilities to use the phone as I desire.
Also, there *is* a reason why AT&T is known for dropped calls, and while a bunch of people report reliable service, there are a lot more reporting bad service.
