I can drag it big and small. Try running it via sudo. Just curious if it's a permission issue.

OK, I see the issue.

I can make the screen larger, but I can't go smaller than the default
size. What I wanted to do was make the screen smaller in order to get
some work done at the same time.

The smallest I can resize the screen takes up about two thirds of my
screen. It's not like VLC or Totem that allows you to resize the
video pretty small.

I am able to resize the window to any size by dragging the corner of
the app window.

Seriously though I could only either use it windowed or full screen,
no in between.

BTW I just installed the hulu ap on my EeePC 701. That 630mhz celeron could barely keep up with the video on the lowest quality. Lost audio
sync after awhile. That's what I get for being an early adopter.

You can. You can also use compiz to zoom in on the window which keeps
the poor flash quality during full screen from being an issue.

I just upgraded to the newest release, as notified when opening this app. I would recommend that 64bit users avoid this for a while, it
seems a bit glitch.

I downloaded the hulu app yesterday. It's the 64bit version. I had no issues with video performance. Liked how the buffer stayed full,
even with high quality video. I am on FIOS though.

I really like the interface, just wish you could resize the image
when not in full screen mode.

BTW thanks for the tip Chris. I had to do the same (edit
.huludesktop) to get it working.

Well, sorry to hear you are unhappy with your flash performance.....

A note about the installation. I installed this app on a few 64bit
machines and received an error saying:
"Hulu Desktop could not locate the Flash plugin. If you do not have it installed, please modify ~/.huludesktop with the correct location
of libflashplayer.so."

I fixed this by adding the location of npwrapper.libflashplayer.so to
the ~/.huludesktop config file. In my case it is located in
/var/lib/flashplugin-installer/npwrapper.libflashplayer.so.

yes i saw that on "linux today" and installed it, quite nice, however, all of my computers running Ubuntu have poor flash performance, and hulu desktop inherits that since it uses the abobe flash libraries used by google chrome, firefox, ect..., unlike boxee, which uses its own codecs.

As seen on digg.com today, Hulu Releases A Linux Hulu Desktop Client! Hulu Desktop for Linux is currently built on Fedora 11 and Ubuntu 9.04. The packages should also work on any Linux distribution with glib2.16 (such as Ubuntu 8.04+ and Fedora 9+). Other configurations
have not been tested.

Just tried and tested installing this on Jaunty 32bit. Will be testing
this on 64bit Hardy later today. So far it looks great.
